Readers write -- Notice to all Coldstream residents!

The inauguration of our new Mayor and Council takes place at the Municipal Hall this coming Monday, Dec.1 at 7pm.

Please come out to show your support and encourage your friends and neighbours to do the same.

The meeting will be short as many of the members of Council will be dashing out to Lavington Elementary School in order to attend a meeting regarding Lavington Parks.

Unfortunately, this meeting was arranged to be held at the same time as the inauguration ceremonies. Anyone concerned about the future welfare of Coldstream/Lavington Parks is urged to attend.

I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
