Information for our Lumby and Lavington readers.

Hi coldstreamer,
wondercafe.live! is a discussion forum for open learning and open exchange of ideas, every first and third Friday of each month at Lumby United Church Hall at 7.00 pm. Last Friday we had a series of short speeches on people's vision for their community; on Sept. 19 we'll have Lou Hammond, reporter for the Lumby Valley Times, do a half hour presentation on homelessness, followed by a question-and-answer session, followed by on-table discussions. This will the format for all future wondercafe.live! events.

Anyone from the Coldstream is, of course, invited to attend, and/or make a presentation. Entry is free, and free fair trade coffee is served. My name is Hermann Harlos, hhharlos@xplornet.com, and I take bookings for presentations. Any topic of community interest is welcome.

Hoping to hear from you,

Hermann

About Me

My photo
I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
