Morning Star News -- By Richard Rolke.

It's a shame to see Jeremy leaving. He is one of the remaining engineers associated with the "Master Water Plan" which is anything but master now.

Jeremy is a straight shooter and he always tried his best to respond to my questions regarding the plan. It is unfortunate that the plan did not have a chance for success as it was mostly a baby delivered by politicians and also nurtured by politicians.

Now it is becoming a political football for politicians and no one really knows how the situation is going to be resolved. If the City pulls out there will be a major problem of trying to put Humpty Dumpty back together as it was before it fell off the wall.

So it is probably good for Jeremy to depart before the great political debate around the division of spoils is getting any more heated.

Good luck Jeremy!

About Me

My photo
I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
