Anthony Scaramucci Out At White House After A Whirlwind 10 Days

  Anthony Scaramucci has resigned from his role as White House communications director, according to ABC and The New York Times.

  
  

  Scaramucci was named communications director on July 21, a mere 10 days ago.

  
  

  The resignation comes after a controversy-laden week for Scaramucci that included a profanity-lace tirade against other members of President Donald Trump’s White House staff.

  
  

  His rant, published in The New Yorker, was mostly aimed at then-White House chief of staff Reince Priebus. (Priebus resigned from his post last week and was replaced by Gen. John Kelly Monday morning.)

  
  

  But that wasn’t the only eyebrow-raising moment during his 10 days in the White House. Scaramucci brought on criticism after directing comments about hair and makeup at White House press secretary Sarah Huckabee Sanders. He also reportedly received divorce papers from his wife, who gave birth to the couple’s son while Scaramucci was with Trump last week.

  
  

  Even his hire was laden with controversy. Former White House press secretary Sean Spicer reportedly submitted his resignation after learning Trump was giving Scaramucci a prominent role on the White House communications team. Read more

Trump baffles Sweden with crime comment, says it was based on TV report

 A day after falsely suggesting there was an immigration-related security incident in Sweden, President Donald Trump said on Sunday his comment was based on a television report he had seen.

Trump, who in his first weeks in office has tried to tighten U.S. borders sharply for national security reasons, told a rally on Saturday that Sweden was having serious problems with immigrants.

"You look at what's happening last night in Sweden," Trump said. "Sweden. Who would believe this? Sweden. They took in large numbers. They're having problems like they never thought possible."

No incident occurred in Sweden and the country's baffled government asked the U.S. State Department to explain. (Read more)

A friend went to Beijing recently and was given this brochure by the hotel. It is precious. She is keeping it and reading it whenever she feels depressed. Obviously, it has been translated directly, word for word from Mandarin to English……….

Flying Car Crashes In Landing

Two people are in Vernon hospital with non life threatening injuries after the crash of a flying car. "Maverick " is a Florida developed modified car with a large propeller at it's rear, road worthy, and flies with a para sail for lift. RCMP spokesman Gord Molendyk says it took off from the Vernon airport before nine this morning.  He says the pilot and a relative were aboard, "It had made a circle like it was going to approach , obviously something happened, they heard it from the airport, power up, and then it crashed into the trees by the creek " Vernon   Resident, Ray Seibring, recently brought the fifth ever flying car to Canada as a prototype, and has been making  test flights in the Okanagan. YES, IT'S An ENTIRE 13-STORY BUILDING IN CHINA LYING ON THE GROUND.


(1) An underground garage was being dug on the south
side of the building, to a depth of 4.6 meters (15 ft).

(2) The excavated dirt was being piled up on the north
side of the building, to a height of 10 meters (32 ft).

(3) They dug right up to the base of the building.
Then the rains came.

(4) The building experienced uneven lateral pressure
from north to south.

(5) This resulted in a lateral pressure of 3,000 tons,
which was greater than what the un-reinforced pilings
could tolerate. Thus, the building toppled completely
over in a southerly direction.


*First, the apartment building was constructed.*

 
Then the plan called for an underground garage to be dug out.
The excavated soil was piled up on the other side of the building.


*Heavy rains resulted in water seeping into the ground.*

The building began to tilt. Then it began to shift, and the
"hollow" concrete pilings were snapped due to the uneven lateral pressures.

 And thus was born the eighth wonder of the world.



If these buildings were closer together, it would have resulted in a domino effect.

German officials still seeking identity of 'Forest Boy'

Berlin - German officials are actively seeking the identity of a boy that showed up in Berlin after he'd wandered out of a forest.

While the teenager, dubbed "Forest Boy" in the media, actually emerged from a German forest last September, authorities did not publicly release a photo until just this week.

For many months police have been trying to unravel this unusual case. No one knows if the (estimated) 17-year-old boy has been telling the truth about his upbringing and/or if he has any family members still alive.

When he came out of the forest, the boy told police his name was Ray and that he had been living with his father, Ryan, in the forest for about five years. He said his father had recently passed away. He arrived in Berlin following his father's last instructions to "walk north" and "find civilization" in the event something happened to him. more
