re taxpayer dollar

As the old saying goes the squeeky wheel gets the grease.

#1 What really needs some bucks spent is the seedy, dirty, stuck in the 70's stretch of main street between BMO and the Old Eaton's. Don't see to many tourists wanting to take in the ambiance.

#2 last, but not least:
sadly, despite the fact that the Schubert centre is full of happy golden agers on a regular basis it finds itself in a funding shortfall. It fascilitates trips, companionship, hot meals etc on a daily basis. The comfort this service offers to family and friends of seniors should not be underestimated--its value is priceless.
Yet, Yet!! A facility that fills a true need is desparate for funding and empty galleries (some not accessible) get the bucks? Why is this so?

About Me

My photo
I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
