(SPrKL) News: Volunteers needed!

Yellow Flag Iris Removal at Kalavista Lagoon: October 1, 2011 10:30am

You are invited to help remove the noxious weed, Yellow Flag Iris, from Kalavista Lagoon on Saturday, October 1st 2011.

We will meet at the parking lot by the tennis courts at 10:30 am and take a short walk from there to the site.

You will need hip waders and gloves.

SPrKL will provide refreshments. RDNO is providing heavy duty garbage bags and weed disposal services.

It should be another messy, fun time.

I hope you can make it,

~Trina, on behalf of the SPrKL Executive

About Me

My photo
I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
