Unfortunately, the address search does not seem to work. Left click on map repeatedly to enlarge it and reveal the D (Duteau) and NK (North Kal) areas.

We are brand new to the area. What is the history of "boil water advisories" for Kal Lake water users? Is there any way to know how long this advisory might be in place?

Hi Kathryn

Water advisories for Kal Lake water are relatively rare although it is quite common for the Duteau Creek source. I will report back as soon as I find out what the problem is. Since the water treatment includes ultra violet irradiation I am at a loss to explain what the problem is.

I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
