Adrian Johnson representing the Greater Vernon Governance Society,
states that we have lived, played, travelled, collected garbage etc separately a century ago.
Respectfully, that is a romantic notion.
Historically Vernon was a hub of trading activity, and services. In fact, the court house was built in Vernon because before Kelowna had a bridge, it was isolated, and not the regional centre it is now. Vernon was the de facto centre.
Save for online shopping, and trips to UBCO, Costco etc, the way we were, is the way we pretty much are:

To date, "anonymous" and duplicate voters still propping up numbers on the amalgamation petition.
Expected more diligence from "community leaders" driving the agenda to absorb/nullify my Coldstream.
