News Clip from the Morning Star

It's been nearly two months since the Amalgamation-Unification Petition began and I have not seen any emails, have not had any phone calls advocating for the movement. However, it's nice to see the effort even for indicating that the status quo is fine with the overwhelming majority of taxpayers.

Re MLA Foster's comment about the possibility of running pro-amalgamation candidates--good idea.

I want to be sure my Coldstream members of council are here to serve and protect the community I love. Amalgamation gets you less "rural living at its best" and more sprawl and citification.

Cards on the table please.

I agree with the above comments too, I also wrote to Eric Foster and did get a reply, "your letter duly noted". Thanks for writing.

About Me

My photo
I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
