I do not have a burning desire for more boat launch parking but I do like to see the current levels left in place. This council and the Kalavista committee seem hellbent on decreasing our ability to access "their" lake. This article rather voiced my concerns with the local governments inability to get along. My article had more to do with the waste of taxpayers money spent on the infighting amoungst the local governments. I would also like to see how much money was wasted on consultants in both the "town centre" and boat launch study the latter of which was brought on by the Kalavista committee according to Richard Enns. Of course you probably won't print this response as you only seem to print items that you agree with. Democracy at its finest.....not!

About Me

My photo
I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
