How ridiculous!It was the City that initiated the devolution of water distribution.
GVSC has operated as a Committee for about a year now. It was the corporate body of NORD that established GVSC by a specific bylaw. The decision was not restricted to the participants alone. Therefore, it is the corporate body's responsibility to repeal the bylaw that gave authority to GVSC.
Councillor Beardsell should know how committees operate within NORD as he has been around long enough. He should find an orphanage and have a rest there. The Committee is a lot fairer than the system where seven participants were acting as the entire Board. Suck it up Councillor! to

Richard Rolke is right on. The only thing to add is the timing of the firing. Council is on summer holidays now and don't expect to meet till September 8. This was probably done by design to avoid delegations protesting their action. It was not a nice thing but who would ever accuse Mayor Corner and his group of being nice?
