The Schubert Centre was the location of Greater Vernon's first public presentation of the Master Water Plan in an effort to convince ratepayers to support the borrowing of $70 million. Interest did not seem very strong. In addition to the staff, the consultant and two politicians two additional people from the public were present when the actual presentation began at 5:30 PM. Since the two politicians have already heard the arguments for the borrowing they left at 5:35. The photo below is a representation of the attendance at 5:35 PM.
