Congratulations to Mayor and Council on this decision, it makes perfect sense.

Thank you to the members of the Coldstream Women's Institute for their historical contribution to our community. I look forward to the next chapter in the life of our hall.

Let us hope that the Municipality does keep it as a Hall, and not let the building go to some developer.
Thanks also to the current and former members of the Women's Institute for all the hard work done over the years ( from 1937 to the present day).

@6:37

It would be political suicide to sell this community treasure to developers. I hardly think our council is composed of fools.

This is a non-issue, and throws shade on something that enriches, and supports our connection to our neighbours in this community.

About Me

My photo
I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
