It seems funny that councillor Enns would even comment on what happened at the launch without actually talking with search and rescue. It seems that he was relying on the information he received from residents who may not support the launch. I am glad that the matter was set straight by search and rescue, we don't need more negative stereotypes of boaters being influenced by a misinformed member of council.

Yes, we don't need stereotypes about boaters, just the facts.

They have no impact on any other stakeholders, except those who avoid the lake in the summer.

The commercialization, and paving of Kal Park was a twinkle in the eye of a few.

Oh, that the serenity of the park with the gates of old was returned to us.,,

About Me

My photo
I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
