Quick note - UBCM Convention.

Just a quick note: I am participating in the UBCM convention and my laptop is not cooperating so I will report on the events once I return to home base. We are experiencing excellent weather, politicians and buerocrats are listening to our proposals and comments but results will be seen if and when action is taken on our requests.

My main issue is potential transferring of water licenses from Coldstream Creek/King Eddie Creek to Kalamalka Lake for a potential total separation of domestic and agricultural water supply. I am talking to anyone who might be influential enough to help achieving our aim.

So long for now and see you all Friday and on.

Gyula

About Me

My photo
I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
