Vancouver's ODD SQUAD
The Vernon/North Okanagan RCMP in partnership with the Vernon School District 22 will host Vancouver's ODD SQUAD Productions Society this Friday March 9th 2012 at 19:00 hrs at the Vernon Secondary School Auditorium, located at 2302 18th Street. They have a great presentation infused with video clips on current drug trends that are impacting our youth. For those of you that are unfamiliar with the ODD SQUAD, they are a group of Vancouver Police Officers that created "Through a Blue Lens" a production that highlighted individuals living in the Downtown East side, "Stolen Lives", about the devastation of auto theft involving youth and the most recent, "Guns and Gangs" ,which digs deep into the culture of criminal gangs. I have all these DVD's in my office if you are interested! You can also learn more about the ODD SQUAD by visiting oddsquad.com. This presentation is open to everyone.
