Duteau Creek Water Treatment Plant Public Opening



In conjunction with Drinking Water Week, the Regional District of the North Okanagan is pleased to announce the Public Opening of the Duteau Creek Water Treatment Plant

Date: Saturday May 7, 2011
Time: 11:00 - 3:00 pm

Come out and take a tour of the Water Treatment Plant and see it in operation!

PLANT TOURS: Tours are scheduled to run every 20 minutes. Minimum age for plant tour is 13 years of age.

SPECIAL NOTES: Wheel chair access is limited. Clothing requirements - closed toe shoes, long pants, no skirts, high heels or loose clothing.

Hi,

The site is about water treatment plant public opening, try to keep water from getting into important equipment. Government also serious about this matter and arrange public meetings for the public to give the message for the control of water consumption. Thanks a lot.

I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
