The Regional District of North Okanagan – Greater Vernon Water (RDNO – GVW) is constructing major water system modifications starting Sunday, November 15, 2009. This work will continue through the month of November in preparation for connecting the new Duteau Water Treatment Plant. A Precautionary BOIL WATER NOTICE will be in effect starting Sunday, November 15, 2009 and is expected to continue for the month of November for ALL Duteau Creek water source customers. This is a precautionary Boil Water Notice and the utility is working to minimize risk to water quality.
WHEN is the notice in effect?
The construction will begin Sunday, November 15, 2009 and customers will be informed when the Boil Water Notice is rescinded.
