Many people across the province and beyond, would be outraged to learn that
there are plans to violate the aesthetics and other values of THEIR Provincial
Park.
For those not on social media, you can still voice your opinion re
Kal Park on new items re the environment--British Columbians are taking notice
of the various ways we are losing public/natural places to private/corporate
entities.
Case in point: Burnaby's struggles with Kinder Morgan have
escalated, KM has won the right to explore pipeline options within a nature
reserve next to SFU, and SFU itself. The greater good is at the mercy of the
powerful and well-connected.
p.s. I hope the Tyee does a story re this.
They have been doing an excellent job covering environmental issues of
late.

About Me
- Coldstreamer
- I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
