- I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.

Thank you Coldstreamer for refusing to punish low consumption water users while rewarding high consumption users.
It is about time common sense prevailed!
Best of luck with your initiative, let's hope at the very least your notice of motion inspires an earnest discussion of how we can better set rates that actually accomplish our goals, instead of work against them.
Punishing those who are doing the right thing by conserving water is surely not the way to go.
