Water issues - Further to Cunliffe supply.

Further to my earlier story, I was assured that there was only a minor amount of Duteau water mixed in the supply line on the south end of Kidston Road and there is no need to worry. Mixing has now stopped and all water for the area will be supplied from the east Kal intake.

Commissioning of the new Duteau Creek treatment plant will begin very soon and hopefully the plant will be in full use by August-September. Once fully operational all customers presently supplied by the Cunliffe Road reservoir will be switched over to Duteau Creek water.

About Me

My photo
I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
