Only in a Banana Republic.

The Ministry of Transportation's priorities are flipped on the wrong side: on the one hand, they deny safety at an uncontrolled intersection, where everyone, from new drivers to seniors, are free to play chicken with vehicles going at top speeds, and, on the other, we have a quiet country lane, through Cosens Bay, in an environmentally sensitive park, which has been determined to be a "safety" menace.

I guess that's what they get the big bucks for.

My photo
I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
