Re: The RDNO structure

The Chair should come from the largest electoral area, and the vice-chair from the second largest area. In the majority these 2 groups have the most to "benefit from" or "lose to" direction taken by the Electoral areas or smaller surrounding communities. It is a poor governance structure as it is now designed.

re: Council should think Vernon first:

I have been cogitating on the above concept, and, having just dumped significant disposable and non-dsposable income in the Big Smoke today, I call phooey.

We pay our fair share, if we didn't, you can sure the highly educated professional staff at Vernon City Hall would have underscored this point. After all, they are not stupid, they understand who butters their bread, no matter which administration they serve.

About Me

My photo
I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
