My understanding is that the asking price is in the order of $6 million. At that price you can get a small wooded Gulf Island with an updated home , guest house, dock and pontoon boat. Seems really excessive in price.

What a shame. This would have been a wonderful legacy for Dr. Ormsby.

Waterfront access in the North Okanagan is well below that enjoyed by our Okanagan neighbours to the south. We have been not been well served by earlier municipal politicians.

In the interest of clean industry: tourism, regional partners ought to start buying up waterfront. It doesn't require much infrastructure or upkeep as other recreational venues do.

And, as they say, they're not making it anymore.

About Me

My photo
I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
