Meet the "Super Tomatoes"!

These tomatoes were harvested in September, 2012 an stored in a bowl in the kitchen over the winter with many others. No special treatment or storage. They never spoiled and are still edible as of May 6, 2013. Amazing!

Bit concerning - not what one would expect of a 'real' tomato - are they genetically modified?

As far as I know they are modified genetically. Te original fruit was a totally normal looking and tasting tomato.

Correction: not modified genetically.

I have been a resident of Coldstream since 1976. I have had 15 years of experience on Council, 3 years as Mayor. As a current Councillor I am working to achieve fair water and sewer rates and to ensure that taxpayers get fair treatment. The current direction regarding water supply is unsustainable and I am doing all I can to get the most cost effective water supply possible.
