On April 26, 2012, the Federal Government introduced Bill C-38, which contains the government’s proposed legislative changes to the federal regulatory system. The most significant change is the complete repeal and replacement of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act (CEAA), the central piece of federal environmental legislation.
