The UN Report, LIVESTOCK'S LONG SHADOW-ENVIRONMENTAL ISSUES AND OPTIONS (2006), states, "that livestock are responsible for 18% of greenhouse gas emission, a bigger share than that of transport". Unless the numerous cattle of Coldstream Ranch are counted, and their belching and flatulence measured, this calculation is inaccurate and meaningless.
