When we moved here from a rural community from the coast we had an opportunity to buy a lovely heritage home on the East Hill in Vernon. I decided against it because of the sidewalks. Sidewalks and streetlights signify city aesthetics to me.

There are lots of city environments to choose from, however, rural communities with the charm and beauty of Coldstream with our proximity to emergency care are not as easy to find.
