ReplyDeleteWhat is not mentioned in this press piece is the fact that all major capital projects in 2011 suffered cost overruns amounting to significant numbers, that could only be covered by raiding the money designated for infrastructure (paving) upkeep. Mr Hegler is accurate in his statements and kudos to his efforts to get some accountability. There appears to be no cost control and no reason to believe there will be in 2012. Get used to the big tax hikes!
