ReplyDeletePerhaps another environmental issue could be addressed as well.
In the seventies we lived in a B.C. community where it was so hot chocolate chips in my pantry melted in our non-air-conditioned house. My personal cooling device was a wet towel permanently installed on my head.
Water restrictions were so extreme that I used to scoop used dish water and bath water into a bucket to water my precious flowers.
I wish our current Coldstream home had a way to separate benign grey-water from sewage to water my garden.
Would it be possible to require all new construction to have a system to separate grey-water from sewage?
