  1. We drove the Commonage today: we went down to Okanagan Lake via Okanagan Bench Road. I literally drove at a crawl, it is narrower than Cosens Bay Road (portion through the park) and as you switchback down a steep grade, there are blind corners. On the North Side of the road there is no shoulder, no barrier and nowhere to go except down a steep ravine. We passed three walkers who smiled and nodded at us for driving safely.

Now why can't the fortunate few who live at the edge of Paradise, show the same easy consideration and drive with care? Our park is a retreat for countless visitors, yet Cosens Bay developers and their associates, would spoil that experience for us. How would you feel if your retreat was over-run by an entitled few?

I have driven many North Okanagan back roads in worse condition than Cosens Bay. It is all sick-making.
