Is that an old cherry tree? Have you put suet inside or is he just after grubs, etc? We've a dead branch on a maple they have split to bits. Great birds. :)
ReplyDeleteThat is a very old yellow plum tree from an earlier era. There was no suet in there so he was likely after grubs. He made a huge hole in the tree.
